French Cheese and Single Malt Whisky Tasting
Does the Marriage Really Work?
A chilled-out, casual afternoon at M. Chatteˇ¦s
lovely little lounge around a single table, above his retail store in Sheung
Wan?
And rolled into one; a tutored tasting of a selection of
French cheeses, imported by Jean-Yves Chatte who will
do the talking PLUS a tutored tasting around the curious, compelling
world of single malt whisky by Darren Hosie from Pernod Ricard.
And then we match the two! Sound like fun?
The cheese plate will include Roquefort Carles,
Comte 18-24 months, Valencay and Epoisses
(yes some smelly ones!). The whiskies include Speysideˇ¦s
Glenlivet 12-years, 15-years and 18-years are the wee
drams for sampling. Wine will be served on arrival (and later, as necessary, as
a palate cleanser!).
